  • Extramural research project: Molecular identification, characterization of SARS-CoV-2 from the clinical stool and sewage samples in central India: vital assessment of SARS-CoV-2 for enteric and community – funded by ICMR.

The department participates in various international and national External Quality Assurance Scheme (EQAS) and consecutively scoring more than 90%.

State-of-art diagnostic facilities like, Automated Culture System, Cartridge based NAAT, Autoanalyzer Immunoassay Chemiluminescence (CLIA), Thermal Cyclers, Automated Nucleic Acid Extraction Systems, Illumina MiSeq sequencing system, and Tape Station DNA-RNA QC Analyzer etc. are available in the department.
