The department is headed by Professor Dr Smita Soni with Dr Yashveer J K as the Associate Professor. Dr Kirti YK and Dr Kartikesh Gupta work as Assistant professors.
There are two Senior residents and five junior residents joining every year. The department is well equipped with the Zeiss microscope and Karl Storz endoscope and camera systems for improved surgical efficiency and learning for the post graduates.
Variety of clinical exposure with micro-ear surgery, all rhinological procedures, microlaryngeal surgey, reconstructive and head & neck surgery being done in the department.
There is regular bedside teaching program for undergraduates and post graduates in the 45 bedded ENT ward. For skill development there is hands on training with a specialized temporal bone dissection lab.
All the faculty being passionate teachers- regular classes, group dissections, quiz, demonstrations, seminars are held for under graduates and post graduates.
There is a heavy work load with almost 200 opd patients per day, 3-4 major cases in operation theater and 5-7 minor procedures every day.
